Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 2026
Short version: PilotCx does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app has no accounts, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything it stores stays on your device, and the only network activity is Apple's own in-app purchase process.

What data we collect

None. PilotCx does not collect any personal data, usage data, device identifiers, or diagnostic data, and does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.

What's stored on your device

The app saves your favourited/starred aircraft locally on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage (UserDefaults), so the app can jump straight to them next time you open it. This information never leaves your device, is never transmitted anywhere, and is deleted if you delete the app.

Network access & in-app purchases

PilotCx works fully offline for all reference content. All checklist, speeds, and weight & balance data is bundled with the app at install time and needs no internet connection to use. Unlocking the full aircraft fleet is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple's StoreKit — this is the only feature that requires a network connection. PilotCx never sees, collects, or stores your payment details; that information is handled solely by Apple in accordance with the Apple Privacy Policy.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data of any kind from any user, it does not knowingly collect information from children, and there is nothing to collect regardless of the user's age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that uses data differently — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
